Washington Landmark Construction’s rehabilitation and historic renovation of the Gymnasium at National Park Seminary in Silver Spring, MD received a Montgomery County Design Excellence Award Jury Citation in 2017. The renovation resulted in “a beautifully and cleverly designed set of unique condominium residences,” said the jurors. “The apartments fit into the rafters as naturally as if that was their intended use. This gymnasium has been brought back to life in a useful and dignified manner.” All 12 units in the project were sold at above-market prices for the area.
